To be a volunteer patroller for the Capital Crescent Trail or the C&O Canal Towpath, apply for National Park Service training at David_Tune@NPS.gov, or Norman Liebow, senior volunteer patroller, at Leibow@comcast.net.

Volunteer Patrollers do not engage in enforcement actions; they monitor, inform, educate and call Park Rangers or Police as needed.

The Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail is an all-volunteer organization. We have no paid staff and depend on volunteers for all of our trail building and educational efforts.
