CADY’S ALLEY TO HOST DAYS OF DESIGN EVENT CELEBRATING NATIONAL DESIGN WEEK WITH SERIES OF WORKSHOPS, LECTURES, EXHIBITIONS AND POP UPS FROM OCTOBER 13-21
Washington, DC –Georgetown’s Design District is celebrating National Design Week by hosting a special Days of Design series of events all week. From October 13-21, the stores and showrooms of Cady’s Alley and M Street are embracing artistic inspiration by presenting a series of creative workshops, educational lectures, informative exhibitions, specialty promotions and design-focused pop-ups. Allevents are open to the public.
Days of Design event highlights include: DIY Halloween Entertaining Ideas at CB2; AIA Pop-Up Design Bookstore; How To Entertain for the Holidays in-store workshop at West Elm, exhibition and 15 percent discount off
in-store purchases at L’Eclat de Verre; Opening Reception for Artist Karin Johansson New Places / Abstractions of a City at Jewelerswerk Galerie; and many week-long promotions and specials at various retailers.
The retailers of Cady’s Alley and M Street share a deep commitment to quality design and encompass architecture, interiors, furniture, products, fashion and culinary arts. The Days of Design series aims to highlight the ways in which design enriches everyday life while further cementing Cady’s Alley’s reputation as Washington’s premier Design District.
