Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Dupont Circle Office to Host Art Opening Featuring Local Artist, Amy K. Flatten

Washington, D.C. - (February 6, 2013) – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Dupont Circle office, located at 1606 17^th Street, Northwest, will be hosting an opening featuring the art work of Amy K. Flatten on Thursday, February 7^th, from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.

Flatten, an abstract artist who draws inspiration from everyday life and the simple things seen throughout the Washington, D.C. area, incorporates textures into her work by using different palette knives, followed by smoothing and softening areas with damp brushes. 

"Amy is one of the most talented local artists I’ve seen,” said Kevin McDuffie, Branch Vice President, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Dupont Circle. “Her paintings are so unique, and I’m proud that our office has the chance to display hew works for the community to enjoy.”

The showcase can also be viewed weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., until April 23, 2013.
