Trees for Georgetown just received a supply of ooze tubes for distribution to the Georgetown community.

Ooze tubes are plastic watering devices that wrap around street trees. They holds 25 gallons of water and should be filled once a week to provide adequate water for one street tree, according to a notice on the Georgetown Forum. 

Trees planted within the last three years are especailly vulnerable to heat.
