Friends of Rose Park invite you to attend the annual fall fundraising event presented by the non-profit organization. The annual FRP fundraiser is Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, graciously hosted by Dr. James D’Orta, 6:30pm-8:30pm, 3032 N St., NW, Washington, DC. For ticket information please visit www.roseparkdc.org
The event will benefit the dedicated mission of Friends of Rose Park raising necessary funds for maintenance and additional improvements for parkland shared by DC Department of Parks and Recreation and the National Park Service.
Using private donations, mostly from the neighborhood, Friends of Rose Park maintain and improve the grounds, host events in the park and undertake major capital improvement projects.
The image of Rose Park continues to preserve the generosity of community spirit associated with the Park’s social and recreational history enjoyed by generations.
Rose Park is bounded on the north by 26th St., NW and P St., NW, south at M St., west by 27th and O St. NW and east by Rock Creek Parkway.
