UPDATED: Amazing Race 2013 Final Results: Contestants Arrive in D.C.

UPDATES with final results from the season finale after a race to the finish lands in Washington.

The Amazing Race on CBS finished its season Sunday with a stop in Washington, where contestants had their picture taken with "President Obama," and then traveled to the Tidal Basin, where "spies" were hanging out before landing at National Stadium.

The Amazing Race, which features contestants racing against each other to complete tasks in different parts of the world, aired its finale Sunday with the teams of Max and Katie, Anthony and Bates, and Mona and Beth each vying for the $1 million prize.

UPDATE: Anthony and Bates Battaglia finished first in Mount Vernon to win the race. The brothers are hockey players from Raleigh, NC. Bates once played for the Washington Capitals.

Tasks that the contestants must complete are typically related to the part of the world they're in at the time. In Washington, they were sent to the Pavillion to have their picture taken with a cardboard President Obama, and at the Tidal Basin the tasks were related to — what else? — the famous cherry blossoms.

At Nationals Stadium, home of the Nationals, contestants had to dress as giant baseballs and catch a ball from their partners flying overhead on a zip wire.

Then it was on to Hains Point for a memory test of the countries they had visited over the course of the season.

The show was taped earlier this year — did you see any of the contestants as they blew threw DC? Tell us in the comments!
