Arcuri Aims for April Opening in Glover Park

The restaurant takes over the space being vacated by Kavanagh's Pizza Pub.

Arcuri, a casual Italian-American restaurant, will fill the space that was Kavanagh's Pizza Pub at 2400 Wisconsin Ave. NW and hopes to open in April.

Kavanagh's closed Jan. 31 and Arcuri started its lease Feb. 1.

The new restaurant will feature a menu of wood fired brick oven pizzas, antipasti, pasta and seasonal dishes, according to a press release.

The concept comes from We are 4 partners, LLC., made up of, you guessed it, four local guys partnering to start their own business.

The restaurant's namesake is Rosario Antonio Arcuri, the Italian-born greatgrandfather of  Vice Managing Partner Brynce Gerlach, according to the press release.
