Out of a field of 10, Bourbon Steak emerged the winner, just edging out Morton's.
Morton's received 22 votes in the "Best of" contest, followed by Citronelle with 5 votes. Check out the poll below to see all of the votes.
"We take our cocktail program here at BOURBON STEAK very seriously and it means a lot to us that our neighborhood residents appreciate what we do. In Arlington, readers recommend Uncle Julio's Rio Grande Cafe for the best place to celebrate a happy or special occasion and Liberty Tavern took home the prize for "distinctly Arlington" restaurant to take out-of-town guests.
In Alexandria, the choice was La Strada for best Italian food.
Next week we'll be doing another reader's choice contest. We need your input before Monday to decide which places to include on our list of "Best Places to Take an Out-of-Towner/Most Quintessential Georgetown." What are the must-see, must-eat places you go back to again and again with visitors?
Voting starts Monday, Mar. 5 at 5 a.m. and ends next Friday, Mar. 9 at 9 a.m.
Note, this article has been updated to include a response from Bourbon Steak about their win.
