Car Crashes into Rock Creek Parkway Embankment
The incident happened near the P Street entrance to Rock Creek Parkway.
A sign at the top of the hill points to Rock Creek Park below and sits on the edge of Rose Park.

Two northbound lanes and one southbound lane of Rock Creek Parkway are closed Friday morning after a car crashed into a parkway embankment near P Street.
The Metropolitan Police Department Twitter account reported the incident just after 9 a.m. Friday.
Park Police are on the scene and at 9:40 believed the incident should be cleared in 10 or 15 minutes, according to Sgt. Paul Brooks.
Brooks said there were no injuries reported.
