Celebrate Bastille Day in Georgetown

Vive la France at local eateries.

 

Looking to celebrate Bastille Day locally? Whether you are a francophone or just a francophile, Georgetown's international scene offers several great options for dining in French style.

There are many local options for french food in Georgetown, from a pastry at La Madeleine to a tartine at Cafe la Ruche. Check out our directory for a full list.

There are a few places celebrating the occasion in style:

Bistrot Lepic:

Enjoy the Amy K Bormet Trio at the wine bar and a special menu featuring foie gras, rack of lamb and delectable summer desserts.

Maison Francais:

The official party at the French Embassy in Georgetown is July 16 from 7 p.m. to midnight. There will be a buffet feast supplied by over 20 francophone or francophile chefs as well as music and dancing.
