The new burger eatery will have the same menu as the Capitol Hill location; it will be recognizable on M Street with its trademark red awnings.

"In the order of four short years it has become somewhat of an institution here in the city," Greenberg said of the restaurant's Capitol Hill location. "We're excited that our second restaurant and probably only other restaurant in D.C. is going to be here in Georgetown."

The Georgetown Advisory Neighborhood Commission approved Tuesday the doors, sign schemes and awnings as proposed by Greenberg, but asked the business to reconsider the goose neck lighting scheme in favor of a more subtle light source.

Greenberg told Patch he is a native Washingtonian and now lives nearby in Potomac, Md. with his wife and two children.
