Frugal Family: Cozy Dining Deals in Georgetown

End February by warming up with a meal deal and a friend.

Despite the recent breaks in the weather, there is still time left for hibernation. One of the best ways to hibernate is with a warm meal, a drink and a good company!

Below are some deals to look out for the week of Feb. 23-March 1. (Yes, I said March!)

Paolo's is having Wine Down Wednesdays! Bottles of wine are half-price and whatever you cannot finish you can take home subject to D.C. law. Also, check out their late night dinner deals beginning at 11 p.m. weekdays and at midnight Fridays and Saturdays. Items like pizza and panini's are only $8.

On M Street Tackle Box also has aWednesday dining deal. Fish Tacos are half price. Get two tacos for $8 or three tacos for $11. Great food for a great price.

A casual warm meal for a good deal awaits you at Booeymonger's on Prospect and Potomac Streets. From 3 p.m. to closing Cheeseburgers with potato wedges and a small soda are only $6.95.

Finally, Jetties on Foxhall is offering savings to all those who sign up on their website and print out a coupon. Order a salad from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Feb. 22 to March 1 and get a second salad of similar or less value for free.

If salads seem too cold for this time of year, look at the other establishments and their deals. For example, Surfside in Glover Park feeds kids for free on Mondays!

Dare we look forward to March, the unpredictable month (In like a Lion, Out like a Lamb)?
