Garrett's Restaurant Closed for Good

The thirty-year M Street veteran closed for business May 30.

 

Garrett's Restaurant & Railroad Tavern closed May 30 after more than thirty years on M Street, according to the Washington Business Journal.

The restaurant website thanks its "loyal friends and customers from over the many years."

Garrett's held events like Big Buck Hunter Competitions, Trivia Night Tuesdays and Sunday Funday.

The restaurant first opened January 27, 1979.
