Georgetown, Home of a Major League Sandwich?

Washington Nationals relief pitcher, Drew Storen, stopped by Georgetown for lunch Monday.

Drew Storen, a relief pitcher for the Washington Nationals, dropped by Georgetown Monday for lunch at J. Paul's.

Storen first asked his twitter followers for lunch recommendations.

@DrewStoren Anyone have good lunch spots in georgetown?

Followers offered suggestions like Old Glory, Tackle Box, Thunder Burger and even Cafe Milano.

Later he tweeted his destination of choice:

@DrewStoren J. Paul's got the call. Mainly so we can catch some college world series action.

J. Paul's at 3218 M Street is a member of the Capital Restaurant Group known for its seafood, including a raw bar, and its burgers. It also boasts five 50-inch televisions, perfect for checking out some baseball, apparently.

What did the Nats player go for on his day off?

@DrewStoren @GeorgetownPatch reuben sandwich. Pretty solid.
