Georgetown Hosting Bike to Work Day 'Pit Stop'

On May 17 there will be more than 70 pit stops spread across the District, Maryland and Virginia.

Georgetown is getting in on the 2013 Bike to Work Day as the Georgetown Business Improvement District hosts a pit stop at the Georgetown waterfront, just off the Capital Crescent Trial on May 17.

The annual event is organized in the D.C. area by Commuter Connections and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association.

On May 17 bikers can drop by the Georgetown pit stop at K Street and Wisconsin Avenue NW from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for refreshments. Register to receive a free t-shirt. To register at the Georgetown pit stop contact Jordan Culberson, 202.298.9222 x204, jculberson@georgetowndc.com.
