The Georgetown waterfront ice rink is officially open for skaters.
Clark Construction had been working to transform the Washington Harbour fountain since early October.
Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; noon to 10 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
The rates are $9 for adults; $7 for children, seniors and military. Skate rentals are $5.
The annual "Winter on the Water" celebration is set for Saturday, Dec. 1. It is a holiday celebration in conjunction with the Christmas Bazaar at the House of Sweden.

There are skate rentals! The rink costs are: $9 for adults, $7 for children, seniors and military members. Skate rental is $5. Hours are Monday through Thursday: noon to 9 p.m., Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday: 10 a.m. to 7p.m.
