Help Select the New Taxi Color Scheme

The District hopes to create a uniform color scheme for DC's taxis.

Mayor Vincent C. Gray and DC Taxicab Commission are seeking public input on four options for the proposed standardized uniform color scheme for the D.C. taxicab industry.

"We intend for DC to establish an identity and image that will set a new standard for public vehicles for hire and will help improve enforcement to prevent illegal vehicle service by creating a more recognizable D.C. taxicab," said Gray in a press release.

Four vehicles wrapped in proposed color schemes are on display at the Verizon Center through Jan. 7 and will later be available at Union Station and then at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center during the annual Washington Auto Show.
