Intermix Moving to Larger Georgetown Space

The women's clothing retailer will move from its current space in the Georgetown Park Mall.

Intermix is relocating from 3222 M St., NW in the Georgetown Park Mall to 3300 M St., NW, an EastBanc property. Thos. Moser currently occupies the location.

Intermix signed a "long-term lease" for the corner retail space in EastBanc's Georgetown Renaissance property, according to a press release. The new location offers 2,679 square feet of retail space in a corner property bordering Cady’s Alley.

“Securing Intermix delivers one of the nation’s top fashion-forward women’s apparel stores to the quarter and we are pleased to have them within the distinctive urban village that comprises our properties," said Anthony Lanier, president of EastBanc.

The Georgetown Park Mall has been ending leases with many of its current individual tenants to prepare the property for a potential larger tenant.

The Georgetown DMV, located in the base of the mall, will be closing indefinitely beginning Saturday, May 19 because of construction at Georgetown Park.

Mall owners have kept silent about whether or not they have a tenant secured, but have proceeded with design review and construction permits in recent months.
