'Mad Men' Takes Over Georgetown's Banana Republic
Mad Style cocktail party takes over M Street.
"Mad Men," a television drama set in the 1960s, has brought back tailored suits for men and feminine shapes for women's dresses and skirts, as viewers long for the fashion and flair of Madison Avenue ad men.
Thursday evening Georgetown's Banana Republic hosted the "Mad" Style cocktail party. Customers sipped cocktails, scotch and martinis while checking out the new "Mad Men" inspired clothing line.
