Man's Body Found in Potomac River Near Thompson Boat Center
A man's body was found Monday evening.
Monday evening, a harbour patrol boat responded to the report of a man's body in the Potomac River near Thompson Boat Center, according to several news sources.
The Washington Post first reported the incident early Tuesday morning.
"An unidentified Hispanic man was found in the water and pronounced dead," police told The Washington Examiner.
Police pulled the man's body from the river near Virginia Avenue, according to the Post.
The man's death is under investigation.
A staff member at Thompson Boat Center said he was not familiar with the situation and that the facility was closed at the time of the incident.
