Nectar Skin Bar Holds Open House 'Party,' Invites Customers to Play
The new beauty retail shop and day spa opened on Wisconsin Avenue one month ago.
"He is to brows what they are to cupcakes," said Thomas of the spa's in-house eyebrow and waxing guru. "I think he's phenomenal and people are so excited about him."
Indeed, Nectar Skin Bar was abuzz with excitement and activity on Saturday when it opened its doors for a "Garden Party.
Customers were offered special infused waters - which the spa makes everyday - and given gift bags filled with trial-sized products. Staff members were on hand to offer demonstrations and highlight some of the unique, exclusive brands the new store carries.
"We want you to come in and play," said Thomas, who owns the store with his wife Amy. "We know every ingredient in every product that we have."
And many of those products are unique in D.C. "We said, 'Let's not carry every product. Let's carry the very best and bring what's in New York and L.A. and Paris and Italy to Washington, D.C.," Thomas said.
