Patisserie Poupon Wins Georgetown Holiday Window Competition

This was the first ever Georgetown BID Holiday Window Competition.

Patisserie Poupon (1645 Wisconsin Ave. NW) won the first ever Georgetown Business Improvement District Holiday Window Competition by getting the most likes on Facebook for their window display.

Voters could choose from 16 local businesses who took on the challenge of decorating their front windows with four or fewer materials.

Patisserie Poupon used macarons, doilies, cake boxes and parchment baking paper.

The BID wrote on its Facebook page, "It was a very close competition, and we'd like to acknowledge Hitched's second place in the voting, followed by Ella-Rue and Haagen-Dazs!"
