This was an absolutely wonderful event in celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday, and coming the day before President Obama's inauguration, made it even more special. Many, many thanks to the Kennedy Center and Georgetown University for sponsoring this event, which was free to the public.

Oh, and I should add, Smokey was smokin, as was the choir. A definite bright spot in mid-January!
