Even though Hurricane Sandy was downgraded to a Post-Tropical Cyclone as it blew through the D.C. region, it left in its wake thousands of customers without power and downed trees on neighborhood streets.

Tuesday will bring with it lower temperatures, passing rain and wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
