Police: Suspects Tried Stolen Credit Card at GU Bookstore
The incident happened in November, but police have just released a video.
Police report that two men tried to use a stolen credit card to purchased several electronic items at the Georgetown University Bookstore in November.
Second District police released a video this week of two persons of interest whom they believe committed credit card fraud.
The incident under investigation happened at about 2:50 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Georgetown University Bookstore, 3800 Reservoir Rd. NW.
Police ask that any one who has knowledge of this case, or knows the identity of the persons of interest call police at 202-727-9099. Police say that if you see them you should not confront them, but instead notify police. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
