Report: National Airport Plans Millions in Upgrades to Terminal A
The airport has experienced growth in recent years, the Washington Examiner reports.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport’s growth has resulted in challenges for airport officials, who hope that millions in scheduled upgrades will meet the demand from passengers, according to the Washington Examiner.
The Examiner reports that the airport has seen a 4.4 percent increase in passengers from the previous year as more airline carriers offer flights to National. To quell that demand, a $45 million upgrade that should be completed by the end of 2013 is planned for Terminal A.
