Sassanova Could Get a Reality Show

Filming took place last week at both the Georgetown and Bethesda locations.

Sassanova co-owners Sassy Jacobs and Sarah Cannova spent last week filming with Back Roads Entertainment to create a mini-pilot of a reality show to pitch to major networks, according to Washingtonian.

Filming lasted three days at both the Georgetown and Bethesda locations of the boutique shoes and accessories store.

In a casting call posted on the Hitched Bridal blog, Sassanova said they were looking for shoe-lovers in need of the perfect shoe for a special occasion. They wanted women "who absolutely love shoes and nothing is more important than fashion over function."

The show, as proposed, will be more Say Yes to the Dress than Real Housewives. According to Washingtonian, "customers come in with 'emergency' shoe and accessory situations and Jacobs, Cannova, and staff solve them."

The show is a long way from becoming a reality (pun intended), but the ladies at Sassanova are hopeful that a network will pick it up and bring in more business.
