Serendipity 3 Loses Executive Chef
Eater D.C. reports that Chef Jason Ferrell has left Serendipity just weeks after the new restaurant opened.
Jason Ferrell, the executive chef at Georgetown's Serendipity 3, has apparently bid adieu to the restaurant, according to Eater DC.
Serendipity 3 opened Memorial Day under executive chef Ferrell, but Eater reports that an employee at the Georgetown cafe said he no longer works there.
Dannia Hakki, a representative for Serendipity, responded to Patch's inquiry and requests to confirm, stating simply, "I can't comment on that at this time."
It is unclear who is running the show in Ferrell's absence or when a new executive chef might be announced.
The restaurant's original location, which opened in 1954, is situated on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
