Shell Gas Closer to Coming to Wisconsin Avenue

Former Georgetown Auto Shop, Washingtonian gas site will become a Shell gas station.

Shell Gas is seeking permit approval to install a new sign at the former Georgetown Auto Shop, Washingtonian gas site, which has been closed since a fire in March 2011.

Patch first reported in September 2012 that the charred gas station at 1576 Wisconsin Ave. NW, would become a Shell gas station.

Owner Roland Joun announced his intentions at the September Georgetown Advisory Neighborhood Commission meeting.
