Splish Splash: Pools Open This Weekend

D.C. public pools open this weekend

 

Georgetowners opting for a staycation this weekend can relax and find respite poolside from a warm weekend. The Department of Parks and Recreation will open D.C. public pools for weekend hours beginning May 26.

Pools will be open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. starting this weekend. Weekday hours begin June 18 and vary depending on pool.

Volta Park (1555 34th St., NW)

  • Closed Monday
  • Tuesday through Friday, 4:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sunday noon to 6 p.m.

Francis (2435 N St., NW)

  • Monday through Friday, 4:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Closed Tuesday
  • Saturday, Sunday noon to 6 p.m.

Jelleff (3265 S St., NW)

  • Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Closed Wednesday
  • Saturday, Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
