Video: Nats' Teddy and Screech Skating in Georgetown

Washington's mascot was joined by one of the racing presidents in Georgetown Thursday.

Thursday evening, popular racing president Teddy Roosevelt and Washington Nationals mascot Screech were skating at the Georgetown waterfront as part of the Offseason on Ice event.

Since baseball was gone from DC for so long, Nationals General Manager Mike Rizzo said the team is trying to build a base of "life-long nationals fans," by courting young professionals.

Teddy and Screech attended the event Thursday and could be seen posing for photos and high-fiving skaters on the rink.
