Viewfinder: Flight Time Visits Children at Georgetown Hospital
With a colorful basketball, kind words and handful of tricks Harlem Globetrotter Flight Time brought smiles to children at Georgetown Hospital Wednesday.
Famous for no-look-behind-the-back half court shots, mad dribbling skills and a host of other basketball tricks, the world famous Harlem Globetrotters are back in D.C.
While the team usually caters to an audience of hundreds, one Globetrotter, Flight Time, took time to put on a show for a much smaller audience at Georgetown Hospital. Lighting up faces of the children he visited, Flight Time spent Wednesday morning using his basketball skills to help young patients forget about being sick.
The Globetrotters are at the Patriot and Verizon Centers on March 4 and 5, tickets start at $17 per person and are available for purchase online.
