A total of 17 crimes were reported between Sept. 30 and Oct. 6 in PSA 206. 

There was one burglary from a residence and then, of course, the robbery of the armored car on Wisconsin Ave. 

Of the 17 reported crimes, 9 occurred on M St. and 7 of those were theft; the other two on M St. included assault with a dangerous weapon and simple assault, both of which occurred in the early morning hours.

In a monthly update to the community, Lieutenant Hedgecock reported an increase in crime over the past month and said his officers were adjusting their tactics to address the spike.
