Where to Watch Fireworks in Georgetown

If you are in town for the July 4th holiday, you will want to scope out these prime viewing locations.

 

The National Park Service will continue the tradition of setting off fireworks from the Reflecting Pool on the National Mall this Independence Day. The show will begin at 9:10 p.m. and expected to last for 17 minutes.

When you venture out, consider leaving fido at home. Fireworks can be pretty scary for your pets.

While the National Park Service Fireworks show on the National Mall draws in crowds from around the country, there's something to be said for setting off your own mini pyro-technic display on the sidewalk. Patch compiled a list of what's legal and what's not when it comes to setting off fireworks in Georgetown.
