JAZZ IT UP
A brand-spanking new restaurant, a classic supper club and a private one opening up its arms to guests, these festive options will provide party-goers a jazzy and swinging New Year Eve's experience.
Blues Alley Jazz and Supper Club
This classic institution will be grooving its way to the new decade with the Monty Alexander Trio and Michael Bowie Band. Two shows are in store for New Year's Eve: 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Both will have dinner (an entree choice of filet mignon, crab cakes, jambalaya, shrimp and artichoke hearts or pesto pasta) and non-alcoholic beverages (except bottled water). Other alcoholic drinks are separately priced.
The early portion (doors will open at 5:30 p.m.) is $100 per person. The later show (doors will open at 9:30 p.m.) will include unlimited champagne by the glass, hats and noise makers at $150 per person. Bayou
Along the eastern edge of Georgetown, one of D.C.'s newest restaurants will welcome 2011 with its grand opening--Louisiana-style. Bayou, 2519 Pennsylvania Ave., will bring in New Orleans-based musician Glen David Andrews to perform all night.
The fete will offer two ticket options. The first is the dinner and drink option, which will include a four-course dinner (seating from 7 - 9 p.m.), open premium bar and champagne toast ($140). City Tavern Club
This private club will celebrate New Year's Eve with open arms to both members and non-member in a black tie event. From 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., the celebration will comprise a gourmet food station (sushi, raw bar and dessert station), premium open bar, champagne "flowing throughout the evening" and two dance floors where you'll be shaking your tail feathers to the Motown and soul groove of The Blue Tips Rhythm Revue.

Farmers & Fishers
This family farm-friendly venue along the Georgetown waterfront is welcoming guests and their friends and family to celebrate in one of its private rooms. The specials are nothing short of its wholesome surf and turf offerings.
The evening will have two dining options: special menu ($50 per person) and signature ($75 per person). Both comprise a three-course meal (Maryland crab cakes, crispy duck breast, harvested mussels, ribeye chop are just a few of the offerings), a specialty cocktail and a glass of wine or sparkling wine. Bourbon Steak
Housed inside the Four Seasons Hotel, Bourbon Steak, 2800 Pennsylvania Ave., will offer two different sets of menu and live entertainment in the lounge from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The first seating is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and costs $85. The second half is from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. and priced at $175, which includes an extra sweet dish and a champagne toast. A vegetarian menu is also available for $85. Fahrenheit at the Ritz-Carlton
You won't need a baby-sitter for this New Year's Eve dining celebration. The dining fare at Fahrenheit, 3100 South St., is family friendly. The three course holiday menu is offered in three rounds: 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Each adult is $75 ($95 with wine pairing), while each child 12 years old and under is $40. A four-course menu option is also available later in the evening from 8 p.m. to midnight ($145 per adult, $175 with wine pairing). This chic crêperie will offer a four-course menu for $65 that consists of lobster ravioli, lamb strip loin, chocolate mousse and many more options. The $35 champagne pairing is optional.
