Outdoor Boot Camps: Fun & Effective Fitness

It’s challenging to get motivated to get moving, especially when you’re headed to a gym in a basement with no windows. The smell of sweat is offensive and the music is too loud (and you don’t even like the songs playing). In addition, you have no idea how to use the large pieces of metal equipment surrounding you.

Any motivation you mustered vanishes with one touch of the snooze button. How do we solve this problem and rekindle motivation?

Make fitness fun! Outdoor fitness boot camps offer the perfect opportunity to get moving. In a fitness boot camp, you exercise outside in a naturally energizing environment with a group of like-minded people, breathing fresh air and soaking up Vitamin D. As you run, jump, push, pull and squat, you train yourself to move your body the way it was intended to move.

Boot camps are effective because they offer important elements: accountability, variety and RESULTS! Most boot camp programs charge monthly rates. This means you pay in advance, making the commitment in advance. Workouts and exercises vary each class — unlike the gym where you know what to expect because the equipment and classes remain unchanging. Lastly, it’s impossible not to see results when you’re running around in the great outdoors being pushed and motivated by your instructor and fellow boot campers.
