DESCRIPTION:Help us Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer by participating 
 in the inaugural &ldquo\;A Taste of Northern Virginia NOCC Golf Tourname
 nt!&rdquo\; Our local volunteers are working tirelessly to make sure tha
 t this event properly celebrates our survivors\, raises awareness about 
 ovarian cancer\, encourages friendly competition\, and gives the communi
 ty an opportunity to truly get a taste of Northern Virginia. Our goal is
  to raise $20\,000 for this event\, but we can only achieve this objecti
 ve with your help. If everyone contributes a minimum of $50 we can surpa
 ss this goal and continue to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer!Followi
 ng the Golf Tournament there will be a Tasting Reception to benefit our 
 chapter&rsquo\;s awareness and education programs. The reception will fe
 ature an acoustic performance by the renowned Brad Doggett\, tastings fr
 om Willowcroft Vineyards\, Dry Mill and Lost Creek Winery\, food pairing
 s from Executive Chef Larry Kessel of the Cancer Treatment Centers of Am
 erica\, Sanjeev Kumar of Angeethi Authentic Indian Cuisine Restaurant \,
  Chef Antonio Iazzetti from Palio Italian Restaurant\, a silent auction\
 , and much much more! The event will take place at Westpark Golf Course 
 in Leesburg\, Virginia on September 22\, 2012. Registration begins at 7:
 30 am\, Tee time in TEAL attire will be at 9:00 am\, with the reception 
 to follow from 1:00-4:00 PM. We welcome all participants&mdash\;men and 
 women of all skill levels. It doesn't matter if you're yelling "Birdie" 
 or "Fore" we eagerly anticipate your presence and appreciate your contin
 ued support of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
