The second concert of the Citizens Association of Georgetown summer series is June 17, Father's Day. The concert at Volta Park will feature the Morrison Brothers Band. This is the 10th year of Concerts in the Park in Georgetown.

More About Volta Park Recreation Center and Pool
Volta Park at the intersection of 34th Street and Volta Place offers a pool in the summer, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, a baseball field and a playground. The playground and sandbox are brimming with bigwheels, wagons and other children's toys; nearby benches offer seats for watchful parents. The Friends of Volta Park support the upkeep of the grounds and offer programming to serve the community. Donations and the annual Volta Park Weekend fund the group's efforts.
