More About Georgetown Neighborhood Library
The Georgetown Neighborhood Library reopened in Oct. 18, 2010 after a fire destroyed much of the interior of the building April 30, 2007. The library underwent a massive nearly $18 million renovation. It now offers a special children's reading room, private meeting rooms, a community room and the Peabody Collection, which holds local historical items. The library is a mainstay of the Georgetown community with programs for adults and children alike.
