Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School is an all-girl Catholic school that enrolls young women from DC, MD and VA. The private school requires admissions tests and interviews for prospective students. The 20-acre campus has served as a school for young women since it's founding in 1799 under the direction of the Sisters of the Visitation.

Students have a variety of class offerings, including numerous AP classes, and some have the opportunity to study at nearby Georgetown University. Today over 400 young women are educated under Visitation's mission to create "self-reliant, intellectually mature and morally responsible women of faith, vision and purpose."
