Rabat, Conakry determined to build strategic partnership, joint statement
Conakry, Mar 05, 2014 (MAP) - Morocco and Guinea have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relationship and building a strategic partnership.
In the joint statement issued at the end of the official visit of HM King Mohammed VI in Guinea (March 3-5), the two officials expressed satisfaction with the excellent friendship and cooperation bilateral relations, reiterating determination to further deepen and expand them to different areas.
The two heads of State paid tribute to the late their Majesties King Mohammed V and Hassan II, and Presidents Ahmed Sékou Touré and Lansana Conté, who consolidated the ties of friendship and active solidarity between the two countries.

In a reflection of this common will to further consolidate bilateral cooperation, the two countries signed more than twenty agreements in several fields, including taxes, transport, water and energy, agriculture, industry, and vocational training.
