On August 13, Good Sports - a national nonprofit that provides athletic equipment to community organizations and promotes healthy, active lifestyles to disadvantaged youth - donated more than $12,000 worth of athletic equipment and apparel to members of the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington's Physical, Healthy, Driven (PHD) Program. Leaders of the Sports and Fitness Industry Association (SFIA) - a partner of Good Sports - were also on hand for the donation.
