Bikeshare Adds Two Georgetown Stations

The new stations were installed Thursday.

Alta, the company that operates the Capital Bikeshare program, installed two new Bikeshare stations in Georgetown Thursday.

One station is on O Street just east of Wisconsin Avenue (next to the CVS) and the other is at 34th and Water streets, NW.

Georgetown now has 7 total Bikeshare stations.

Bikeshare allows users to rent a bike either through a membership or on a daily basis. You can get a membership for a month or a year or rent for a day or three days.

Bikes can be picked up from any dock throughout the District or Virginia and returned to any other dock in the system.
