Deep Freeze Timeline: When Will Georgetown Weather Warm Up?

Dangerous temperatures are going to be hanging around Wednesday. Here's a look at when you can head back outside.

The kids get a day off from school Wednesday, but it's not sledding weather in these temperatures.

And the cold air is expected to linger. A wind chill advisory is in effect until noon Wednesday. The National Weather Service warns frost bite and hypothermia are possible if precautions are not taken.

Here's a look at the Georgetown temperatures and expected wind chills.

Wed., Jan. 22

  • 11 a.m. 11 degrees, WC -5 degrees
  • 2 p.m. 12 degrees, WC -2 degrees
  • 5 p.m. 12 degrees, WC -1 degree
  • 8 p.m. 10 degrees, WC -1 degree
  • 11 p.m. 9 degrees, WC 1 degree

Thurs., Jan. 23

  • 2 a.m. 8 degrees, no wind chill
  • 5 a.m. 7 degrees, no wind chill
  • 8 a.m. 10 degrees, WC 3 degrees
  • 11 a.m. 17 degrees, WC 8 degrees
  • 2 p.m. 21 degrees, WC 9 degrees
  • 5 p.m. 19 degrees, WC 6 degrees
  • 8 p.m. 16 degrees, WC 3 degrees
