Dreaming Of A White Christmas?

The National Weather Service says snow isn't likely.

Around this time of year I cherish every snow flake, hoping it will last through Christmas.

This year isn't going to be the white Christmas our inner children always hope for, but today, for just a few moments, there might be a few snowflakes.

I'll sure be peeking out the window throughout the day.

Here's the full forecast:

There may be a little snow in Georgetown today, but nothing that will amount to a White Christmas, the National Weather Service predicts.

There is a chance of scattered flurries after noon. But with a high temperature of 41 degrees, don't expect the snow to stick, the National Weather service prediction shows.

Skies will clear up some by nighttime and temperatures will drop below freezing with a low of 24 degrees, the National Weather Service predicts.

Christmas day will be all sunny with a high of 34 degrees.
