Demand Outpaces Pre-K Seats at NW DC Schools, Stoddert to Add 4th Kindergarten Class

School administrators may start looking warily at all those double strollers that now fit so nicely on the expanded sidewalks in Glover Park: there are too many young children and not enough slots at local schools to fit them. Last week we reported on the incredibly high demand for local pre-K programs and the tough choices principals are making to fit all of these kids.

80 Condos Coming to West Heating Plant Site

The winning bidder in the West Heating Plant Auction is a development team that includes developer Richard Levy, New York-based The Georgetown Co. and the Four Seasons Residences. The group has indicated it would like to build some 80 condos on the property adjacent to the Georgetown Four Seasons. Read more.
