Enjoy Free Sunset Yoga, Pilates in the Park This Summer

Georgetown BID partners with area yoga and pilates studios.

The Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID), in partnership with Georgetown yoga and pilates studios, will host free one-hour sunset yoga and pilates sessions in the park throughout the summer. Sessions will begin at 6 p.m. in GeorgetownWaterfront Park near the intersection of K/Water Street and Potomac Street. 

The current class schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, June 24: Taught by CorePower Yoga
Tuesday, July 29: Taught by Fuel Pilates;
Tuesday, August 29: Taught by Down Dog Yoga.

Space is limited, and RSVPs are required by clicking here.  Participants are asked to check in upon arrival at the information booth, and you must bring your own yoga mat.  

Yoga & Pilates in Georgetown Waterfront Park is part of Rock Creek Park On the Move, a community program that combines stewardship events, healthy living programs, and active recreation opportunities with an interactive scorecard designed to track participants' progress and activity.
