National Weather Service Issues Flood Warning
See How Much Rain is expected to fall in Georgetown
Georgetown will get soggy tomorrow morning through the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
A flood watch for all of Washington, D.C. will go into effect at midnight and will continue into Monday afternoon.
The National Weather Service expects periods of heavy rainfall, dumping 1-3 inches of rain between 12 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday. Temperatures are predicted to remain in the high to low fifties, possibly dropping to 51 degrees by 5 p.m.
The service advises clearing clearing drains and catch basins to prevent flooding near your home.
