More than 500 Pepco customers are without power in Glover Park, just after 10 a.m. Friday, according to the Pepco outage map.

The estimated restoration time was extended from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday.

Glover Park is one of several neighborhoods in the District with above-grade power lines, which are more susceptible to outages from downed branches and high winds. Friday's weather forecast calls for winds around 18 mph.
