Santa Claus Making Annual Burleith Visit Dec. 16

Notify the big guy in the red suit if he should stop by your home a bit early this year.

Santa Claus is coming to Burleith Dec. 16 for an early visit and photos with local children before his annual visit — in a more discreet fashion, of course — Christmas Eve.

The Burleith Citizens Association pulls some strings each year to make sure Santa Claus makes a stop over before the Christmas holiday.

Karen Landes is in close contact with the North Pole, so Burleith parents hoping to have Santa make an appearance should contact her at KarenMLandes@hotmail.com before Dec. 9.

According to Landes' email on the Burleith list serv, parents should:

"Include the names, genders and ages of the children in your household. Santa will visit each house for a few moments to hear your child’s holiday wish and pose for a picture or two (be sure to charge your camera batteries!). *If you do not receive a confirmation email from me within 24 hours, please check the email address and resend."
